Bahamas Wahoo Championship Rules

RULES AND REGULATIONS :2008-2009 SERIES:

1. The BWC is limited to boats with inboard engines only.
2. Wahoo only to count. 20 pound minimum weight.
3. No mutilated fish will be weighed in. The decision of the weigh-master is final.
4. Boats may leave the docks at 7:00 AM. lines in at 8:00 AM.
5. Boats must pass the "Malone" line- Terminator line, at 5:00 PM.
6. WEigh In 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
7. No boundaries. No waterways.
8. Six (6) lines total per boat of which two only may be wire lines. No electric reels.
9. This is a boat tournament. Once a tournament starts boats cannot be substituted.
10. Fish cannot be transferred from one boat to another.

• One point per pound of eligible Wahoo.
• High Point Boat-Daily. The sum of the TWO heaviest Wahoo weighed in.
• Overall Winner-The sum of the heaviest FIVE qualifying fish. (Two per day less one).

• Captain of the Winning Boat. Crew (2) of the winning boat.

A clarification of the rule, weigh-in format and procedures plus local rules will be discussed at teh Captains Meeting. These rules will be in effect for the 2008-2009 Bahamas Wahoo Championship season and will supersede all previous rules from previous Championship seasons.
