Bahamas Wahoo Championship Rules
RULES AND REGULATIONS :2008-2009 SERIES:
- The BWC is limited to boats with inboard engines only.
- Wahoo only to count. 20 pound minimum weight.
- No mutilated fish will be weighed in. The decision of the weigh-master is final.
- Boats may leave the docks at 7:00 AM. lines in at 8:00 AM.
- Boats must pass the "Malone" line- Terminator line, at 5:00 PM.
- WEigh In 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- No boundaries. No waterways.
- Six (6) lines total per boat of which two only may be wire lines. No electric reels.
- This is a boat tournament. Once a tournament starts boats cannot be substituted.
- Fish cannot be transferred from one boat to another.
Scoring:
- One point per pound of eligible Wahoo.
- High Point Boat-Daily. The sum of the TWO heaviest Wahoo weighed in.
- Overall Winner-The sum of the heaviest FIVE qualifying fish. (Two per day less one).

- Winner, Second, and Third
- High Point Boat Day One, Day Two, and Day Three.
- Heaviest Wahoo caught in the Tournament
- Captain of the Winning Boat. Crew (2) of the winning boat.
Clarification of the rules-Weigh in Procedures-Local Rules
A clarification of the rule, weigh-in format and procedures plus local rules will be discussed at teh Captains Meeting. These rules will be in effect for the 2008-2009 Bahamas Wahoo Championship season and will supersede all previous rules from previous Championship seasons.
